During your stay

When you arrive at SSANC, your personal nurse will greet you, help check you in and prepare you for surgery. Your nurse will stay with you until you go into the operating room, where you’ll be introduced to your surgical team.

After your surgery, you’ll be back with your nurse, who will help you through recovery, take care of any discomfort or pain issues you may have and discuss your pre-arranged post-operative care and treatment plan. Your surgeon will come in to speak with you when you are fully awake. Family or friends can be with you during recovery, if you prefer.
